Jamie Forbes
Jamie Forbes serves as Senior Manager, People Operations & Strategic Community Engagement and Development at Mount Sinai Health System. She brings more than 20 years of professional experience, including more than a decade with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, spanning people operations, healthcare administration, workforce strategy, and organizational operations.
In her current role within Emergency Medicine, Jamie leads initiatives spanning employee engagement, workforce development and talent pipelines, and leadership development, as well as onboarding, process improvement, faculty operations, and strategic communications and community partnerships. Her focus is strengthening the employee experience, improving workforce systems, and building partnerships that connect emerging talent with career and professional development opportunities.
Jamie holds an MBA in Healthcare Management and is SHRM-CP certified. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Organization and Management with a concentration in Leadership. Jamie was recognized by Healthcare Leaders of New York (HLNY), the local chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), for her contributions to healthcare leadership and community impact.
