David Schiff
David Schiff is a partner in the Restructuring group at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP. David advises on a wide range of restructurings, bankruptcies and liability management transactions, representing investment funds, creditor groups, banks, companies, equity sponsors and other strategic parties. David maintains an active cross-border practice and has advised on some of the largest and most complex cross-border restructurings in recent years. He is a member of the International Insolvency Institute’s NextGen Leadership Program and has been listed in Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch since 2020.
David has a J.D. from the New York University School of Law and a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania. He lives in Manhattan with his wife and two children.
