Jessica Mischkot
Jessica Mischkot joined Futures and Options in December 2020. As Chief Program Officer, Jessica is responsible for the oversight of program delivery, operations, growth, quality control, program staff development, and strategic partnerships. Prior to joining Futures and Options, Jessica worked at Lenox Hill Neighborhood House as the Deputy Chief Program Officer where she oversaw multiple programs including the Park Avenue Women’s Mental Health Shelter, Casa Mutua Supportive Housing Residence, Real Arts After School and Summer Camp, Adult Education, and Art Therapy. From 2005 – 2017 Jessica worked for the Joe Torre Safe At Home Foundation where she developed and oversaw youth violence intervention and prevention programming in public schools across the country. Jessica is excited to continue working to support young people gain knowledge, experiences, and relationships that will help them pursue fulfilling educational and career opportunities.
Jessica graduated from Emerson College with a B.A. in Writing and Literature. She continued on to earn an M.A. in Psychology from Hunter College. In 2019 Jessica completed a four week Senior Leadership Program at Columbia University. Over the course of her 20 years working with marginalized youth, Jessica has remained passionate about social justice and supporting young people and their families.
