Poonam Shah
Poonam Shah is currently Senior Director at Bank of New York. Previously, she was the head of Strategy and Planning in the Global Business Risk and Control Organization at Citibank. Poonam has 15+ years of industry experience working for Citibank and Goldman Sachs in a variety of leadership functions across Operations- Middle Office and Internal Audit covering Investment Banking and Global Markets. Poonam has focused on strengthening the risk control infrastructure including implementation controls related to Dodd-Frank regulations. She graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology with a Bachelors of Science in Business and Technology and currently lives in Montclair, New Jersey with her husband and daughter.
