Aliyah Simon-Felix
Aliyah Simon-Felix joined Futures and Options in December 2023 as a Healthcare Work-Based Learning Program Coordinator.
Prior to Futures and Options, she worked as a Data Specialist for the Nathaniel Clinic in Harlem, and as a Program Coordinator for the OB/GYN Family Planning Division at Maimonides Medical Center. Both of these roles gave her an inside look into issues surrounding health inequity, and the motivation to encourage positive patient engagement. She is excited to be able to collaborate and encourage youth to take on opportunities in healthcare to develop and revamp healthcare systems in the future.
Aliyah graduated with her degree in Economics and Social History from Barnard College In April 2021. While in undergrad, she worked as a Writing Fellow, served as Editor in Chief of her campus’ literary and art magazine, and volunteered as a Peer Health Educator for her school’s health promotion campaign. In her free time, Aliyah enjoys trying new restaurants, taking long walks and finding new music to listen to.
